Seva Saturday Yoga
Practice with purpose.
Join us for Seva Saturday Yoga — a heart-centered, donation-based class where movement meets mindful giving. “Seva” means selfless service, and this class invites you to embody that spirit through both your practice and your contribution.
Each session offers a gentle, all-levels yoga flow designed to nourish body, mind, and soul. In lieu of a set fee, we ask for cash donations, grocery gift cards, or non-perishable food items, all of which go directly to local food programs supporting the Gering and Scottsbluff communities.
Come as you are, move with gratitude, and be part of something bigger — together we can share the gift of nourishment and kindness.

Meet Your Practitioner: Kathy Dickson has been passionate about sharing the gong for over 10 years, playing in settings across the region. As a long-time resident of Fort Collins, Colorado, she is dedicated to bringing this accessible and deep form of healing to our local community.

Our most potent tool for transformation is the expansive breath. When we fully immerse ourselves in the breath, we transcend the limitations of our ego-mind (the analytical, planning self) and access a deeper, more intuitive state of being. In this altered state of consciousness, we connect with our inner healer, the wise part of our soul that knows how to restore balance, clarity, and peace. By combining the power of breath with the resonant vibrations of sound, we activate new aspects of self and reawaken aspects of ourselves we had forgotten. It's a simple yet profound practice that can unlock extraordinary freedom and healing.
Take a deep breath.
Exhale.
Let go.
Relax.
Certified Breathwork Facilitator Lisa Betz-Marquez leads this monthly circular breathing practice within a safe and welcoming community. After a brief introduction, participants begin a blindfolded journey, guided by a specially selected soundscape.

Join Lisa Betz-Marquez with her complete set of frosted crystal singing bowls, each tuned to one of the seven chakras, for a deeply relaxing experience like no other.
Lisa will guide participants into a meditation introducing of each chakra, and using the corresponding singing bowl to activate each one. Once the chakras are activated, a healing sound bath will continue, helping participants to find deep relaxation as bathed in the healing sound vibrations.
How does sound healing work? Similar to how synchronized pendulums eventually swing in unison, sound waves can "entrain" our brainwaves, influencing their frequency and activity to induce relaxation and even sleep, similar to meditation or slow breathing.
Our bodies and organs, like tuning forks, have natural resonant frequencies. Specific sound frequencies can resonate with these, potentially stimulating healing processes and releasing blockages. This resonance effect is still being researched, but some studies suggest it might influence blood pressure, hormone production, and cell activity.
This immersive experience of sound waves washing over your body can be deeply relaxing and stimulating, promoting a sense of peace and well-being.

Testimonial:
"I have participated in archetypal gesture with Lisa two times. The very first time was a profound and deeply healing experience for me. I found the movements simple, and easy to remember, even though I was sure I would forget them. I instantly connected with the closest person to my heart that was causing me pain at the moment. We had a beautiful exchange while meeting on the astral plane. I had a huge emotional release, as did the person I was communicating with. It completely altered our present-day relationship, and enhanced it. The archetypal gesture class is more powerful and healing than I can explain in words. I have incorporated the movements into my everyday life, and practice them often."
