Humble Warriors Veteran's Yoga Support Group

Humble Warriors Veteran's Yoga Support Group is dedicated to fostering a supportive community that honors the courage of our service members while promoting mental, physical, and emotional well-being. By integrating mindfulness, breathing techniques, movement, and camaraderie, we aim to create a safe space where veterans can reconnect with themselves and others, cultivate resilience, and thrive in their journey beyond service.

Each meeting is a blend of physical practice, emotional support, and community, reflecting the mission to empower and uplift veterans through holistic wellness.

Our physical practice emphasizes mindfulness, breathing techniques, and movements that promote relaxation, strength, and flexibility. The practice is adaptable and is taught so members can be seated in chairs, or on the floor. Modifications are offered to for all levels of ability, to ensure everyone feels comfortable participating at their own pace.

After the yoga session, the group transitions into an open circle for discussion. This is a time for veterans to share their thoughts, experiences, or reflections in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Topics might range from managing stress and navigating civilian life to celebrating personal victories. The meeting concludes with a brief gratitude practice or meditation, fostering a sense of calm and connection.
